Key Positions

The Servus Amoris Foundation's leadership structure is designed to ensure effective governance, sustainable operations, and faithful stewardship of the Foundation's mission. Each key position plays a vital role in driving the organization's impact and fulfilling its mandate to accompany and empower helpers in pastoral, therapeutic, and care ministries.

Executive Director

ED

The Executive Director (ED) serves as the overall head of the foundation, ensuring effective implementation of its mission, vision, goals, and strategic plans. The ED provides leadership in organizational development, strategic direction, partnerships, and financial sustainability.

  • Lead the implementation of the foundation's mission and strategic objectives.
  • Supervise and evaluate all staff and major programs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and administrative regulations.
  • Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders, partners, donors, and the Church hierarchy.
  • Oversee resource generation and fundraising initiatives.
  • Represent the foundation in external affairs and public forums.
  • Graduate degree in Development Studies, Theology, Nonprofit Management, or related fields.
  • Proven leadership experience (minimum 5 years) in the nonprofit or Church-related sector.
  • Deep understanding of Catholic social teachings and pastoral sensitivity.

Finance and Admin Officer

FAO

The Finance and Admin Officer (FAO) is responsible for the overall financial management, budgeting, internal control systems, and administrative operations of the foundation. The FAO ensures transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the use of resources.

  • Prepare and monitor budgets, financial reports, and audits.
  • Manage cash flow, bank accounts, payroll, and disbursements.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory, office supplies, and asset management.
  • Ensure timely filing of government reports (SEC, BIR, etc.).
  • Maintain administrative records and HR files.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • CPA preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in finance or admin roles, preferably in an NGO or church-based institution.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping systems and government compliance requirements.

Program Development Officer

PDO

The Program Development Officer (PDO) designs, implements, monitors, and evaluates the foundation's programs, especially in healing, formation, scholarships, and outreach. The PDO ensures that programs respond to real needs and are rooted in the foundation's mission of compassion and hope.

  • Develop and manage project proposals, logical frameworks, and implementation plans.
  • Monitor program outputs, conduct field visits, and prepare impact reports.
  • Coordinate with scholars, beneficiaries, and partner institutions.
  • Facilitate trainings, workshops, and retreats.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director in proposal writing and donor reporting.
  • Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Pastoral Studies, or related field.
  • Strong background in program/project management.
  • Experience working with vulnerable sectors (e.g., clergy, recovering individuals, survivors).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.

Communications and Partnerships Coordinator

CPC

The Communications and Partnerships Coordinator (CPC) is responsible for shaping the public image of the foundation, managing communication platforms, and building relationships with donors, Church communities, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement communication strategies (print, digital, social media).
  • Maintain the foundation's website, newsletters, and media content.
  • Write press releases, impact stories, and promotional materials.
  • Organize donor engagement activities and public events.
  • Assist in networking and partnership-building with external institutions.
  • Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications or external relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Filipino.
  • Proficiency in social media management, graphic design, or video editing is a plus.
